I am Pam (Stewart) Skolrud and enjoy researching family history. I have been exploring our family trees since about 2001. Most of my research has been through online databases, archives, and websites. I look forward to being able to travel to other states and countries to do local research.
I am a member of Findagrave.com. I have photographed family graves and created memorial sites for individuals in all the branches of our families, as well as responding to photo requests in cemeteries near my home on behalf of others. I truly appreciate those that have responded to my photo requests providing photos and often additional information.
My branches of these trees are the Stewart-Wilsons (my father's family) and the Hamar-Bunns (my mother's family). My husband Rod's branches are the Skolrud-Hollands (his father's family) and the Snyder-Stimpson (his mother's family).
Rod and I have three wonderful sons, three beautiful daughters-in-love, and two adorable granddaughters. We are anticipating the arrival of our first grandson. They tease me about searching for dead relatives but always show an interest when I find a connection to a significant event in history.
I have enjoyed getting to know distant cousins via email and ancestry message boards. I hope someday that I get to meet some of them.
